Margaret Wells Ainsworth

Margaret Wells Ainsworth, 86, went to be with her heavenly father on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Bryson. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Margaret was born on June 29, 1925 in Jermyn to the late Claud C. and Jodie Marie (Erwin) Wells. She married Winfred Ainsworth on December 13, 1942 in Sherman. He preceded her in death on June 17, 2000. Margaret was a cook for Bryson Independent School and a member of First Baptist Church in Bryson.

Survivors include: daughter, Katheryn Carnley of Bryson; sisters, Louise Benedict of Sherman and Betty Pennell of Caddo, Oklahoma; 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jearl Ainsworth, daughters, Peggy Beaty and Margaret Moore, sister, Sherry Furche, brother, Jerry Wells and grandchildren, Lisa Leverett and Keith Beaty.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
