Margie Bruce

Margie Bruce, 56, passed away on Saturday, February 5, 2011 in Graham. A private graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 in Veale Creek Cemetery in Stephens County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Margie was born on September 10, 1954 in Abilene to the late J.W. and Geneva Louise
(Walker) Armstrong. She married Curtis Bruce on November 23, 1981 in Graham. Margie was co-owner of Young County Butane and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include: husband, Curtis Bruce of Graham; son, Sonny Miller and wife Melissa of Possum Kingdom Lake; daughter, Brandy Overcash and husband, Justin of Covington; daughter, Estacia Bruce of Graham; grandchildren, Tyler, Colton, Braylea, Kaycie, Trey, Jada Grace, and Cooper; brother, Jimmy Armstrong and wife, Jenny of Olney; sisters, Nell Starkey and husband Bob of Graham, Judy Green and husband Mike of Graham, and Merrie Smith and husband Bryan of Graham; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Johnny Armstrong and sister, Sherrie B. Armstrong.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
