Margie Huffman

Margie Huffman, 84, passed away on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Oak Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Margie was born on April 18, 1926 in Throckmorton to the late Bennet Ray and Bertha (Goyne) Tenney. She married Hoyt Huffman on October 14, 1944 in Durham, NC. He preceded her in death on April 10, 2001. Margie moved from Megargel to Graham in 1965 and was a beauty operator for many years. She was a member of the Brazos Valley Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.

Survivors include: sons, Kenneth Joe Huffman of Graham and Johnnie Ray Huffman and wife, Donza of Stephenville; daughter, Glenda Kay Rife of Graham; sisters, Mary Ethel Campbell of Saginaw and Bennie Jean Harvey of Fort Worth; 7 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 5 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Cotton Tenney.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
