Margieree Griffith

Margieree Griffith, 84, of Aledo, Texas passed away Thursday, November 24, 2011 in Weatherford, Texas . A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00pm Sunday, November 27, 2011 at Pioneer Cemetery with Reverend Gary Tull of Graham, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home, Graham, Texas.
Margieree was born February 24, 1927 in Montague County, Texas to the late Troy Leonard and Allie Louise (Burchett) Posey. She married Emmett Griffith on March 25, 1944 in Big Spring, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1995. Margieree was a homemaker, a longtime resident of Graham and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors: daughters, Kay Dixon and husband James of Aledo, Sandra Ellis of Granbury; son, Ted Griffith of Oklahoma; brother, Arthur Posey of Newcastle; 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
