Marguerite Ruth McDonald

Marguerite Ruth McDonald, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011, at the age of 90. She was born in Jean, Texas and lived her last 10 years in the LaFollette Courts Assisted Living Center in LaFollette, Tennessee. Marguerite was preceded in death by her husband, Chester A. Golden, who was killed in action during World War II; Crit C. McDonald, her husband of 45 years; three brothers; two sisters; a son, Gary Lee McDonald; and a grandson, Corey C. Golden.

Survivors include Carroll Golden, son, and daughter-in-law, Mitzi Golden; Penne Howard, daughter, and son-in-law, Pat Howard; daughter-in-law, Christy McDonald; grandchildren, Dusti Howard, Heather Howard, Kimberly Roberts, Kristi Bustamante, Sean McDonald, Michael McDonald; great-grandchildren, Erika Withers, Jodi Harris, Emily Golden, Katy Golden, Leslie Golden, Cody Edds, Carolina Bustamante and Ricky Bustamante; and great-great grandchild, Hannah Withers.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association.

Family and friends will meet Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., for a graveside service at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
