Maria J. Perez

Maria J. Perez, 74, of Graham, Texas, was received into the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on February 8, 2023.

Maria was born on January 25, 1949 in Villa Union, Coahuila, Mexico to the late Jilverto Perez and Rosa Contreras. She was married to her loving husband, Arturo Perez for 50 years.  

Maria was a faithful woman who loved the Lord, her family, her church family, and her friends.  If you knew her, you know she was genuine, loving, and a caring special woman with a witty sense of humor.   It brought her great joy to make others smile.  She was unapologetic and relentless in her pursuit to spread the Good News of Jesus.  She was an exceptionally wife, loving mother and best Nana to her grandkids.  

Maria is survived by her husband Arturo Perez Sr of Graham; daughters Leticia Robertson and son-in-law Sheldon of Fort Worth, and Patricia Castan and husband Pastor Carlos of San Antonio; sons, Arturo Perez, Jr. and wife Olga of Graham, and Raul Perez and wife Sheila of McKinney.  She will be missed by her grandchildren Kate, Branden, Emily, Marissa, Daniela, Vanessa, Alex, Victoria, and Vivian.

A funeral service will be held at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Pioneer cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
