Marie Evelyn "Reedy" Crumpton

Marie Evelyn (Reedy) Crumpton, 86, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 in Graham. Funeral will be Monday, July 9, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Marie was born January 10, 1932 in Grady, New Mexico to the late Hermon Raymond and Clara Mae (Roark) Reedy. She married Wayne L. Crumpton, June 20, 1949 in Graham. He preceded his red headed angel in death on February 16, 2015. Marie was a loving wife, mother and "Granny" to her grandchildren, baby sitting and helping to raise each one of them. She was a homemaker and a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Linda Liles, Gay McCracken and husband Rex, Elaine Wells and husband Tony, and Teresa Bishop and husband Nolan all of Graham; 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren; brothers, Eddie Reedy and wife, Doreen and Russell Reedy and wife, Cookie all of Graham; sister-in-laws, Alva Nell Lister of Wichita Falls and Pat Reedy of Mineral Wells; brother-in-law, Wallace Joplin of Graham; also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Marie was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Robert Liles, grandson, Derek Liles, sister, Maxine Joplin and a brother Herman Reedy.

Family visitation will be Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
