Mark Cernosek

Mark Cernosek, 57, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023 in Olney.  Memorial service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Tonk Valley Cemetery in Young County.

Mark was born July 23, 1966 in Graham to Winona Brisco and James Edward Cernosek.  He was able to see the potential in any situation for fun, adventure and laughter.  He played hard and loved even harder.  He was larger than life, full of joy, laughter and loved unconditionally.  He was loyal to all he cared about.  He was an avid outdoorsman spending his time hunting or fishing.  He loved his family and although he never had children of his own, he showered his nieces and nephews with his love and affection.

Survivors include: wife, Elizabeth Oney of Olney; mother, Winona Collins of Graham; brother, Jim Cernosek, II and wife, Mandy of Krum; sisters, Michelle Widner and husband, Rick of Graham, Marcella Cauble and husband, Shawn of Graham, Teri Robertson of Graham, and Kristen Martin and husband, Travis of Graham; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Cernosek and both sets of grandparents.

Memorials may be made to Knights of Columbus or St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
