Marlene Walker

Marlene Walker, 66, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Marlene was born August 4, 1948 in El Centro, California to the late Maurice and Aleta (Potter) Smith. She married Leon Walker November 19, 1965 in Yuma, Arizona. Marlene retired from Trico Transportation and The Parking Lot that she co-owned with Leon. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and Young County Humane Society.

Survivors include: husband, Leon Walker of Graham; sons, Byron E. Walker of Fort Worth, David L. Walker and wife, Cathy of Graham, and Jeffery P. Walker and wife, Deborah of Colorado Springs, Colorado; grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Cord, Cameron, Colby, Wyatt, Zach, Noah, Jude, and Eve; 3 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandchild, Joshua and brothers, Jerry and Bobby Rose.
