Marsha Golden

Marsha Golden, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, February 13, 2018 in Graham. Funeral service will be Friday, February 16, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. in Oak Street Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Marsha was born February 6, 1939 in Electra to the late William Shelton "Buddy" and Frances Grace (Sanders) Brown. She graduated from Electra High School and married Bill Golden August 23, 1957 in Electra. He preceded her in death on September 27, 2016. She was employed by Bryan Insurance Agency for over 30 years in Graham and she was a member of Oak Street Baptist Church.

Survivors include: daughters, Sydney Loftis and husband Marshall of Olney, Kelli Roye and husband Ross of Graham, and Wendy Farquhar and husband Kirk of Midland; grandchildren, Daniel, Heather, Matthew, and Thomas Abright, Eric Roye and wife Kassie, Sarah Simmons and husband Brock, Hannah Roye, and Jamieson and Gracie Farquhar; great grandchildren, Kyler and Rhett Roye; sister, Karen Brown of Albuquerque, NM.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family would like to thank the staff at Garden Terrace for the loving care and compassion they provided their mother over the past years.

Memorials may be made to the Young County Humane Society, Agape Ministries at Oak Street Baptist Church or Samaritans at First United Methodist Church.
