Mary Mahaney Burgess Barron

Mary Mahaney Burgess Barron, 81, died Monday, March 29, 2010 at her home in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Tull officiating. Burial will follow in Gooseneck Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mary was born January 22, 1929 in Roaring Springs, Texas to the late Fay Wesley and Anna Louise (Parsons) Mahaney. Mary married Richard Burgess, August 15, 1947 in Southbend. He preceded in death in 1983. Mary and Richard raised four children in West Texas. She married Willie Roy Barron September 23, 1989 in Azle. He preceded her in death on February 6, 2010. Mary moved back to Graham in 2001 from Fort Worth, she was a member of Eastern Star and First Baptist Church Graham.

Survivors include; daughters, Linda Kay Anderson of Graham, Nancy Campbell of Denver City, and Vicki Hanna of Graham; son, Richard Wayne Burgess of Graham; brother, Earl Mahaney of Graham; grandchildren, Lori Figley, Kimberly Venticinque, Brandon Campbell, Joshua Brake, Amanda Brake, and Stephanie Chrane; stepson, Roy Earl Barron of Lebanon, IN.; stepdaughter, Patricia Oestreich of Lampasas; three step-grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren.
