Mary Davis

Mary Davis, 72, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Monday, July 18, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mary was born November 12, 1943 in Fort Worth. She retired July 22, 2011 from TX DOT after 30 years of service and she was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Mary was a devoted daughter and loved caring for her yard. She loved riding horses and watching her westerns.

Survivors include: daughter, Stephanie J. Davis and fiancé, Bruce Hay of Graham; granddaughter, Hannah Warren of Lawton, OK; sister, Sissy Garvey of Graham; nieces, Shelley Melton and husband, Johnnie and Ashlee Melton all of Aledo; nephew, Matt Garvey and wife, Betsy and Tenley and Caitlyn Garvey all of Farmer; nieces, Neeley Crabtree and husband, Rodney of Arlington and Tracey Mowrey of Graham; adopted daughter, Leah Ledbetter of Newport.

She was preceded in death by son, Will Davis, mother, Dorothy Mowrey, brother, Troy Mowrey, grandfather, Louis Roller, sister-in-law, Cathy Mowrey and daughter-in-law, Wayna Criner.

Visitation will be held Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
