Mary Jo Fields

Mary Jo Fields, 88, passed away on Monday, August 15, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. in First Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jimmy Davis of Watrous, New Mexico, officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mary Jo was born on December 28, 1922 in Jones County, Texas to the late Frank and Minnie Bell (Pomroy) Hail. She married Leo Alton Fields on December 18, 1941 in Abilene. He preceded her in death on June 7, 1986. Mary Jo was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include: sons, Alton Joe Fields and wife, Janie of Pleasanton, Texas and Larry Fields and wife, Judy of Graham; brother, Norris Hail of Ruidoso, New Mexico; grandchildren, Lesley Fields, Lindsey Fields, Alison Watson and husband, Brad, and Chance Fields.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.

Memorials may be made to Virginia's House or favorite charity.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 5 to 7 at the funeral home.
