Mary Ella Henderson

Mary Ella Henderson, 80, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mary was born on May 13, 1930 in South Bend to the late Lester and Christine (Harrell) Braddock. She married Rex Henderson on April 16, 1949 in Wichita Falls. Mary was a charter member of the Hospital Auxiliary and a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: husband, Rex Henderson of Graham; daughter, Karen Hogan and husband, Bill of Terrell; son, Malcolm Henderson and wife, Betsy of Graham; brothers, L.E. Braddock and wife, Peggie of Wichita Falls, and Harrell Braddock and wife, Mary of Graham; grandchildren, Kim Wetzel of Arlington, Jason Neal of Austin, Jud Neal and wife, Susan of Graham, and Trey Henderson of Graham; great grandchildren, Blake, Kolby, and Emily Wetzell, and Avery Jane Neal; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends and family.

She was preceded in death by sisters, Louise Wickman and Marie Cretsinger and brothers, Marion, Charles, and Dan Braddock.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Graham Regional Hospital Auxiliary, FUMC Samaritan Fund, Graham Senior Citizens, or a charity of your choice.

The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
