Mary Jo Case

 

Mary Jo Case, 80, passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023 in Graham.  Funeral service will be held Friday, November 10, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery.

 

Mary Jo was born June 12, 1943 in Wichita Falls to the late James David and Hazel Marie (Skidmore) Evans.  She married Calvin Case July 18, 1959 in Wichita Falls and he preceded her in death April 11, 2010.  Mary Jo enjoyed being with her family and the holidays.  Our mom enjoyed going to the Casino and scratching lottery tickets.  Her love and skill of decorating was phenomenal, our mom loved making crafts and decorating all of our homes.  She thoroughly enjoyed fishing and her cooking was what brought family together every Sunday and of course Dad’s fish frys as well.  She was loved by many and cherished all.  We thank each of you who were in her life as she truly was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, and friend. Survivors include: daughters, Carrie Hawkins and husband Lyndel of Graham, Robin Breeden of Graham, Wendy Edwards and husband Donnie of Graham, and Kristi Hamm and husband Coye, Jr. of Graham; brother, Roger Skidmore and wife, Susan; sister, Karen Holloway and husband, Robert; sister-in-law, Valerie Skidmore; grandchildren, Sadie Cain, Amber and Jim Bob New, Brent and Tina Hawkins, Amy Ford, Leslie and Chris Moody, Alicia and Bryan Carter, Micah and Ashtyn Hawkins, Caine and Dana Myrheim, Bradley and Emily Hamm, Spencer and Caitlin Hamm, Trey and Brittany Edwards, and Colbey Edwards; great grandchildren, Kelsi and Colton Whitaker, Abby New, Jaydin Cole, Brayden Mills, Alyssa Carter, Sydney Mendoza, Levi and Emily Chenault, Kaleigh and Daniel Tapia, Brylee, Macy, and Brody Hawkins, Emma Hawkins, Keeton Cook, Leighanna Youngblood, Paisley White, Taylor and Liam Cain, Luke, Ellie, and Jack Hamm, Camden, Wilder, Caden, Kutter, Kreid, Kinlee, and Sawyer, Cayden and Ryker, Braedon, Havannah, Zaiden Mendoza, great great grandson, Blayton Whitaker; pet chicken, Goldie and dog, Sam.

 

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Deeadra Renee Case, a son, Calvin Scott Case and brother, Jimmy Skidmore.

 

Visitation will be held Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
