Mary Lou Hodges

Mary Lou Hodges, 74, of Graham passed away Saturday, October 31, 2015 in Dallas. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Tonk Valley Community Church. Services are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Lou was born December 28, 1940 in Knox County, Texas to the late Elmer E. and Ruth (Corley) Underwood. She married Jerry Dale Hodges on September 19, 1959 in O'Brein, Texas. He preceded her in death. Lou was a member of the Tonk Valley Community Church. She was owner of 3J Well Service and was employed at Our Neck Of The Woods. Lou loved her home, her family, and all things beautiful.

Survivors include: daughter; Amanda Chestnut and husband Larry of Graham, sons; Jay Hodges and wife LeAnne of Graham, George Hodges and wife Milessa of Perrin, grandchildren; Jennifer Briles and husband Jason of Graham, JB Chestnut and wife Harmony of Graham, Trevor Hodges and wife Ashley of Graham, Audrey Hamelin and husband Atlee of California, Gage Hodges of Perrin and Cason Hodges of Perrin, great grandchildren; Braylee Briles, Brenna Briles, Brett Briles, McKayla Hamelin, and Eli Hamelin.

Lou was preceded in death by a brother, Murray Underwood and two sisters, Sharon Morrow and Ann Underwood.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
