Mary McCrary, 98, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Red Oak Cemetery in Red Oak, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Born Mary Pearl Bellah on April 5, 1916 in Lubbock to the late Luther Bryant and Maude Austell (Henry) Bellah, she was the third of ten children and grew up in Throckmorton County. She graduated from Throckmorton High School. Mary and Darrell McCrary were married in Dallas on April 16, 1943. They lived in Garland. Darrell preceded her in death in 1985. In 1999 she moved to Graham. Mary loved music and played the piano and organ from a young age.
Survivors include: sister, Lola Bain and husband, John, and brothers, Marvin Bellah and wife, Marianna and Blue Bellah all of Graham as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by sisters, Maurine Keeter, Vela Bailes, and Ouida Francisco and brothers Jack Bellah, Donald Bellah, and Bobby Bellah.
