Mary "Frankie" Frances Swatzell

Mary Frances "Frankie" Swatzell, 82, died Friday, December 12, 2008 at her home on Possum Kingdom Lake. Funeral services are scheduled Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Bob Holloway officiating. Burial will follow at Veale Creek Cemetery in Stephens County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Frankie was born August 27, 1926 in Bryan, Texas to the late Dr. August Albert and Isabel (Vaughan) Lenert. She graduated from Texas State College for Women with a degree in fashion design. She married Jack D. Swatzell, June 17, 1947 in Bryan, Texas. Frankie moved to Graham in 1996 from Canyon, Texas. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Methodist Women's Club, and Westside Ladies Club.

Survivors include; husband, Jack Swatzell of Possum Kingdom Lake; daughter, Susan Roberts and husband Rick of Southlake; son, Jack Swatzell, Jr. and wife Beth of Cleburne; nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Frankie was preceded in death by a son, Michael Lenert Swatzell, a sister, Rosemary Anderson, and a brother August Lenert.

The Family will greet friends Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
