Maxine Ward

Maxine Ward, 87, of Graham, passed away Friday, August 1, 2014 in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 4, 2014 at 10:00am at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Megargel Cemetery in Young County. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Maxine was born March 11, 1927 in Borger, Texas to the late Mac McCellah and Oma Lee (Barker) Selph. She married Harold L. Ward on April 6, 1947 in Wichita Falls, Texas. Maxine was a member of the Church of Christ in Megargel, Texas and a homemaker.

Survivors include: husband; Harold Ward of Graham, daughter; Becky Moody of Decatur , sisters; Geraldine Alexander of Archer City, Dorothy Snow of Olney, grandchildren; Bill McClendon and wife Kaci, J.J. McClendon, T.J. Ward and wife Amy, five great grandchildren and five great- great grandchildren. Maxine was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ward in 2009, and a brother Billy Selph.

Family visitation will be held Sunday 6 until 8pm at the funeral home.
