Melba Caskey

Melba Dodson Caskey, 82, passed away at her home Monday, January 20, 2025. Funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cottonwood Cemetery in Bryson. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home. 

Melba was born February 3, 1942 in Vallejo, California to the late Eda Ainsworth Dodson and Joe Dodson. She married Doyle Caskey, June 3, 1961 in Bryson. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1982. Melba was a member of First Baptist Church in Graham and a longtime resident of Graham. She enjoyed working in her yard and feeding stray cats especially Mama Cat. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren attending their sports events. 

Survivors include; daughter, Cindy Fulfer and husband Derek of Graham; son, Clint Caskey and wife Gayla of Denton; grandchildren, Kristin Strawbridge and husband Kevin of Graham, Tyler Fore of Fort Worth, Stewart Caskey and wife Gaby of Temple, Connor Caskey and wife Tiara of North Richland Hills; great grandchildren, Alex, Brennen and Nolan Strawbridge and Hudson Caskey; step great grandchildren Bristol and Waylon Williams of Denton.
