Melba L. Pinkerton, 83, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2013 in Graham. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Melba was born March 11, 1930 in Dell City, Oklahoma to the late Thadus Odell and Bonnie Shaw (Christal) Abrams. She married Robert "Pinky" Pinkerton April 13, 1963 in Graham. He preceded her in death November 12, 2006. Melba worked in the Nursery at First Baptist Church where she was a member.
Survivors include: daughters, Sunnie Risenhoover and husband, Hal of Marshall and Misty Parker and husband, Kirk of Graham; sister, Mary Wooldridge of Houston; grandchildren, Kandace Parker, Todd Parker, Teresa Bagley, and Josh Green; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Todd Pinkerton in 1988, granddaughter, Betsy Collier, great grandson, Weston Green, and brother, Bob Abrams.
Family visitation will be held Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
