Melva Lou Gartman

Melva Lou Gartman, 79, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at her home in Graham. Graveside funeral will be Monday, March 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Melva was born August 6, 1934 in Loving, Texas to the late Melvin Newton and Gertie Louise (Shepard) Gartman. Melva was a former resident of Mission Viejo, California where she was a fashion consulate for Neiman Marcus. Melva was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include; sons, Timothy Ferguson of Graham and Anthony Crawford of Rockwall; step-children, Cindy Cosby, Susan Cosby, and Robert Cosby; also surviving are numerous grand and great grandchildren.

Melva was preceded in death by daughters, Sandra Jean Gartman, Pamela Wemhaner and Fonda Burk.
