Melvin Lee Hazelton

Melvin Lee Hazelton, 78, passed away, Saturday, June 9, 2012 in Graham. Funeral will be held Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Country Road Fellowship Church south of Graham on Hwy. 16. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Melvin was born on June 12, 1933 in Graham to the late James Boyd and Edna Mae (Petty) Hazelton. He married Nelda Jean Parker on June 19, 1963 in Graham. She preceded him in death on June 5, 2008. Melvin worked for Paragon Cable and was a member of Graham Kiwanis Club.

Survivors include: daughters, Darlene Watson of Fort Worth, and Kay Combs and husband, Rocky of Graham, Vivian Browning of Graham; sons, Melvin Boyd Hazelton and Roy Andrew Hazelton of Fort Worth, David Browning of Graham; brother, James Wayne Hazelton of Graham; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

Melvin was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Mae McCallister.

The family will receive friends Monday from 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
