Michael Douglas Coughlan

Michael Douglas Coughlan 74, passed away in his home on Thursday, May 6, 2021. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 1:00 PM. A public visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Michael was born on December 30, 1946 in Merced, California to Bettye Mae Elkins and Charles McClain Coughlan. On December 14th 1985, he married his high school sweetheart, Maggie Warren of Sonoma Ca. Together the two created a beautiful family with 7 wonderful children. Michael was very proud of his service in the Marine Corps and his two tours in Vietnam. He was a silly man who loved to make others laugh, even if it was at his own expense. He loved his family deeply.

Michael is survived by his wife, Maggie; daughters, Marleigh Cowan and husband Ricky, Marchelle Graves, and Jenny Phillips; sons, Ryan Phillips and wife Kali, K.C. Phillips and wife Tyra, Michael Coughlan and wife Addie, and Will Coughlan and fiancé Brittany; sisters, Ramona Nicholson, and Amanda Coughlan; 18 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, in laws, Ruth and William Warren, grandma, Elgie Taylor, and an unborn child, Jordan Coughlan.
