Michael Ray Hinson, 57, passed away Friday, August 5, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Michael was born on May 23, 1954 in Graham to the late Zearl McKinney and Betty Jo (Sparks) Bridges. He was adopted and raised by the late Cadman Hinson. He worked for the Corps of Engineers as a Party Chief on a Surveyor Crew and he was a member of Brazos Valley Baptist Church. He moved to Graham in 2001 from Tye, Texas.
Survivors include: daughter, Erica Bear and husband James of Lumberton; sister, Sue Brown and husband, Dennis of Olney; granddaughters, Ashlyn and Katelyn Bear; niece, Darla Poncio and husband Tony and family.
