Mickey Don Monsey

Mickey Don Monsey, 56, passed away Tuesday, August 13, 2013 in Loving. Graveside services were held Saturday, August 17, 2013 in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mickey was born October 21, 1956 in Olney to Joyce (Oldham) and the late Billy Weldon Monsey. He married Sherry Monsey and she preceded him in death October 1, 2010. Mickey was a truck driver and moved to Loving in 2006 from Lebanon, Tennessee. Mickey Sr. loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He was a wonderful father, brother, and son. Dad, you will be missed very much and always in our hearts. I thank God that he picked you to be our dad and thankful for the 24 years we were blessed to spend with you. We love you.

Survivors include: daughter, Brittany Guzman and husband, Bryant of Yuma, Arizona; son, Mickey Monsey, Jr. of Boyd; mother, Joyce Monsey of Loving; brother, Ronnie Monsey of Loving; two grandchildren, Kourtnie and Nevaeh Guzman.
