Mildred "Millie" Ruth Bruce

Mildred Ruth “Millie” Bruce, 88, passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. A Graveside funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2020 in Pioneer Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Millie was born September 28, 1931 in Megargel, Texas to the late Lorena Enloe (Haley) Stoneman and Johnnie William Stoneman. She married, Marvin Bruce, Jr., December 21, 1949 in Bryson, he preceded her in death on November 12, 2011. Millie was the co-owner of Young County Butane in Graham for many years. She was a member of the Eastside Church of Christ, Graham Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and Graham Chamber of Commerce.

Survivors include sons, Reggie Bruce and wife Pam of Graham, Randy Bruce and wife Sydonia of Midland; grandchildren, Corey Bruce, Estacia Bruce, Lynn Forbus, Justin Bruce, Taylor Bruce, Eli Galloway, Samantha Bruce, Brandy Overcash, and Sonny Miller; sixteen great grandchildren.

Millie was preceded in death by daughters, Marva June Bruce, Susan Rux, a son, Curtis Bruce, and a grandson, Timothy Bruce.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
