Mildred Walker

Mildred Walker, 79, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2015 in Houston.  Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Mildred was born January 2, 1936 in Newcastle to the late Henry and Nettie (Petty) Guinn.  She married Thomas Walker in Graham and he preceded her in death in 1966. Mildred was a school teacher and a member of Houston Faith Church.

Survivors include: sons, William Walker and wife, Gloria of Houston, Bryan Walker and wife, Charlene of Hearne, and Jeffery Walker and wife, Evelyn of Grand Prairie; sisters, Edna Pearl Mikash and Kathrine Gardner; grandchildren, Victoria and Aaron Fritze, Doug and Wendy Mitchell, Tommy Walker, Jerry Walker, Grason Walker and David Walker and great grandchildren, Cecilia Fritze and Gage Walker.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Louise Turner and brothers, Carlton, Milton, Eugene, Richard, Wendell, and Harold Keith Guinn.

Family visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
