Nadine Gaddie Wooldridge, 89, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 5, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in Warren Cemetery in Warren, Oklahoma. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Sunday, July 6, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Graham. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Nadine was born December 2, 1924 in Wetumpka, Oklahoma to the late Bart and Elsie (Spencer) Peevey. Her family moved to Warren, Oklahoma where she attended school and graduated from Warren High School. She attended Cameron College in Lawton, Oklahoma then went to work at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City. She met and married the first love of her life A.D. "Pat" Gaddie December 21, 1945 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. They were married for 58 years and he preceded her in death November 12, 2003. They moved to Graham in 1956 where they raised their four children. They loved traveling, camping, fishing, and other family activities. Nadine worked for Graham Outreach Center and was a member of First Baptist Church. On March 23, 2013 she married Bill Wooldridge who was the second love of her life until her death. She loved family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was active in First Baptist Church, Lake Country RV Club, Graham Promenaders, Possum Bells, Yaha Sunday School, and First Baptist Senior Choir.
Survivors include: husband, Bill Wooldridge of Graham; daughters, Rhonda Rothell and husband, Harvey of Big Spring and Regina Scroggins and husband, James of Richmond; son, Richard Gaddie and wife, Janice of Haslet; grandchildren, Lane Rothell and wife, Bobbi of Big Spring, Lisa Jenkins of Justin, Michaela Scroggins of Richmond and Eric Scroggins of Winston Salem, North Carolina and great grandchildren, Chloe and Cameron Rothell and Brooklyn and Landon Jenkins; step children, Billy Wooldridge and wife, Toni of Graham, Mark Wooldridge and wife, Ruby of Sugarland, and Rebecca Mitchel of Los Angeles, California; 9 step grandchildren, 9 step great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by daughter, Rudeen Kay Gaddie, sister, Lucille Brumley and brother, Lewin Peevey.
Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church Missions Funds in Graham.
Family visitation will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
