Ona Faye Brown

Ona Faye Brown, 85, of Graham passed away Friday, August 10, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday, August 13, 2012 at 10:00am at Faith Baptist Church with Kent Goree of Graham officiating. Burial will follow at Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Ona Faye was born August 26, 1926 in Graham, Texas to the late Sam Millard and Ida Mae (Ratcliff) Hinson. She married Clarence Lee Goree on June 24, 1944 in Jacksboro. He preceded her in death on December 13, 1988. Ona Faye married James Gordon Brown on December 28, 1991 in Graham. She retired as a secretary having worked for Mobly's Office Supply and as a self-employed Tax Preparer. Ona Faye was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors: husband; James Gordon Brown of Graham, sons; Kent Goree and wife Lucille of Graham, Terry Goree and wife Bonnie of Graham, sister; Lorene Ainsworth of Bryson, brothers; Leonard Hinson of Odessa and Frank Hinson of Olney. Six grandchildren and several great grandchildren also survive. Ona Faye was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 until 4pm at the funeral home.
