Patricia "Pat" Stephens

Patricia "Pat" Stephens, 78, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 in Olney. A Graveside funeral will be held Saturday, June 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. in Pioneer Cemetery with Dr. Richard Reed officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Pat was born September 4, 1932 in Newcastle, Texas to Pete and Rowena Stephens. She graduated from North Texas State University in 1953 and went to work for Humble Oil (now Exxon) in Dallas, Texas. She retired in 1986 after 33 years with Exxon and moved back to Graham where she lived until 2 1/2 years ago when she moved to Newcastle. She was an active member of First United Methodist Church in Graham for many years.

"Sis" was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include; brother, Bill Stephens and wife Brenda of Newcastle; nephews, Steve Stephens and wife Leigh Ann of Olney; Alan Stephens and wife Kim of Elbert; nieces, Natalie Bates of Burkburnett; Penny Woolls and husband Dickie of Wichita Falls; and many great nephews and nieces that loved their "Aunt Sis".

Memorials may be made to Newcastle Volunteer Fire Department or First United Methodist Church.
