Quincy Madison Deck

Quincy Madison Deck, 76 , passed away Saturday, July 7, 2012 in Bryson. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Cottonwood Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Quincy was born on July 22, 1935 in Jacksboro to the late Jonah and Tressie Inez (Helms) Deck. He married Ruth Ann Phifer July 20, 1990 in Scurry County. Quincy was a former employee of Target Oilfield Service and retired from Monsanto Gas Plant in Scurry County. He moved to Bryson from Snyder.

Survivors include: wife, Ruth Deck of Bryson; daughters, Lisa White and husband Jerry of Abilene, Teresa Golden of Kerrville, and Vicky Teague and Mike Mello of Carlsbad, New Mexico; son, Bruce Qualls of Graham; sister, Carol Whitsitt and husband, Phil of Midland; brother, Gerald Deck and wife, Ann of Jack County; 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
