Quinten F. "Chinny" Wooldridge

Quinten F. "Chinny" Wooldridge, 87, died on Thursday, July 22, 2010 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Elder Larry Wooldridge of Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Proffitt Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Quinten was born on August 18, 1922 in Proffitt, Texas to the late Obed Thaddeus Neal and Cora Alice (Green) Wooldridge. He married Ethel Clark on January 29, 1944 in Newcastle. Quinten was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was a self-employed paint contractor, a lifelong resident of Young County, and a member of the Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church.

Survivors include: wife, Ethel Wooldridge of Graham; son, Larry Wooldridge and wife, Mary of Graham; daughters, Patty Robertson and husband, David of Graham, Elaine DeWitt and husband, Jim of Abilene, Betsy Keith and husband, Jerry of Graham, Joy Leasure of Graham, and Angela Bobo and husband, Jim of Graham; 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers.
