Ray Hudson

Oliver "Ray" Hudson, 88, of Denton, formerly of Graham, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2014 in Denton. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Denton.

Ray was born August 22, 1926 in Saginaw, Texas to the late Alonzo Earnest and Nona (Wood) Hudson. He married Marcella Anne Touchon on July 23, 1949 in Fort Worth. Ray served in the Merchant Marines during World War II. He attended North Texas Agricultural College where he received his associate degree. Ray retired from Celanese Corporation as a Chemical Supervisor and was a member of the Catholic Church.

Survivors include: wife; Marcella Anne Touchon Hudson of Denton, daughters; Nan Hudson of Denton, Lea Anne Gilley and husband Dick of Newark, sons; Lon Hudson and wife Sarah of Pleasanton, CA., Mathew Hudson and wife Cindy of McKinney. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren also survive. Ray was preceded in death by a son Marc Hudson.
