Robert E "Red" Lisle, 92, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 in Wichita Falls. Funeral services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in the Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Red was born March 30, 1922 in Graham to the late Henry C. and Sally M. (Choate) Lisle. He married Shirley B. Brisco February 12, 1953 in Kingman, Arizona. Red was a veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II. He was a self employed Heliarc Welder and a member of the First Baptist Church in Graham.
Survivors include: wife of 61 years, Shirley Brisco Lisle of Wichita Falls; daughter, Sharon Anderle and husband, Terry of Wichita Falls; sister, Helen Chambers of Graham; grandchildren, Heather and Ryan Anderle and Allen Lisle.
He was preceded in death by a son, Roger Lisle, sisters, Buena Horton, Sybil Ainsworth, and Kathryn Brooks, brothers, Alvin, Frank, and Truman "Dick" Lisle, and grandchild, Kimberly Anderle.
Family visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
