Rena Mae Wymore

Rena Mae Wymore, age 93, passed away in Graham on Thursday, August 22, 2024. Memorial services are currently pending.

Rena was born in Millers Grove, TX in Hopkins County on March 9, 1931 to Vernon and Bertha (Armstrong) Rowe.

Rena is survived by her children, Sally Woolery and husband Danny of Graford, TX, and Roy Skinner of Overbrook, OK; grandchildren, Justin Skinner and wife Misty of Overbrook, OK, Melissa Williams and husband Ty of Elk City, OK, and Jade Skinner; step daughter, Sally Wymore of Mineral Wells, TX, and many great grand children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Wymore; parents, Vernon and Bertha Rowe; brother, Delbert Rowe; sister, Delma Hill; grandson, Toby Woolery; and great grand daughter, Gracie Williams.

Rena was the best example of a selfless individual you could ever meet. She thought about everyone but herself up to her final moments on this Earth. She was the best Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother anyone could ask for and her family was so privileged to have had her as a role model. She was generous and kind, funny and witty, smart and sensitive, hardheaded and stubborn, and very self-reliant. We made some great memories and had some wonderful times together as a family. She was the center of our family, our faith leader, and she always tried to gently lead us toward a better way and better life. She has gone home, and she is already busy preparing a place for each of us.
