Reverend Don O. Austin

Reverend Don Orville Austin, 79, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2009 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 13, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Graham Church of God with Pastor Don Russell officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Don was born on February 19, 1930 in Weatherford to the late Charley Wesley and Glade (Hill) Austin. He married Bonnie Rogers on February 14, 1953 in Graham. Don was a Veteran of the United States Air Force serving five years and received WW II Victory Metal, Korean Service Metal, and Japan Occupation Metal. He was a retired Church of God Minister for over 50 years and a member of the Graham Church of God.

Survivors include: wife, Bonnie Austin of Graham; daughter, Cynthia Martin and husband Patrick of Graham; son, Ricky Austin and wife LaDonna of Graham; four grandchildren, Brian, John, Jessica and Tara; two great grandchildren, Austin and Paxton; sister, Janice Smith of Haltom City; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Don was preceded in death by a grandson, Max Valdez in 2007.

Family visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home
