Richard Arlen Carter

Richard A. Carter, 76, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Wichita Falls. A Memorial service will be held Thursday, December 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Oasis of Grace Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Richard was born July 21, 1937 in Jack County to the late William Andrew and Vivian Helvey Carter. He married Vivian Shadions, August 15, 1970 in Fort Worth. She preceded him in death on December 4, 2008. Richard moved to Graham in 1987 from Fort Worth. He was a retired oilfield worker.

Survivors include; daughter, Carolyn "Susie" Craig of Graham; son, Don Miller of Graham; sister, Ina Lay of Dadeville, AL.; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.

Richard was preceded in death by a son and two sisters.
