Rick Myrick, 55, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2011 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 22, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Pratt of Eliasville officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Rick was born on February 28, 1956 in Graham to W.J. "Dub" and Margaret Ann "Butch" (Dozier) Myrick. He married Lea Ann Grant on January 23, 2004 in Breckenridge. Rick worked for Young County Precinct 2 in Eliasville as a Foreman.
Survivors include: wife, Lea Ann Myrick of Graham; daughter, Brandi Johnson and husband, Ernie of Stanton, NE; son, Brian Myrick and wife, Lacy of Jacksboro; parents, Dub and Butch Myrick of Graham; sister, Jackey Perry and husband Travis of Graham; five grandchildren, Joie and Brock Johnson and Kailey, Brianna, and Shelby Myrick; stepsons, Pat Wright of Graham and Grant Wright of Loving.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
