Rodger Foster

Rodger Lavour Foster, 68, passed away Friday, March 3, 2023 in Denton.  Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 25, 2023 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church in Bryson.

Rodger was born October 7, 1954 in Gainesville to the late Lloyd Leon and Helen Ruth (Berry) Foster.  He married Leshya Anne Ponder February 14, 2002 in Graham.

Survivors include: wife, Leshya Foster of Gainesville; daughters, Christina Dunaway of Dayton, Ohio, Amanda Turner and husband, Lonnie of Blue Ridge, and Jacque Villa and husband, Billy of Blackhawk, Colorado; sons, Chris Foster and wife, Gina of North Richland Hills, Paul Foster of Bryson, Brian Peles and wife, Crystal of Gainesville, Jerry R. Lockridge and wife, Ginnie of Arkansas, and Terry Lockridge of Stephenville; sister, Movita Harris of Gainesville; 14 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by sister, Bettie Segars and brother, Lloyd Duke Foster.
