Ronald E. Gray

Ronald E. Gray, 57, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2009 in Fort Worth. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 22, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Johnny Saunders of More Church in Amarillo officiating. Graveside service will be held Thursday, April 23, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. in Llano Cemetery in Amarillo. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ronald was born on January 12, 1952 in Pampa to Marvin Leroy and Virginia Lee (Tillman) Gray. He graduated from Pampa High School and attended West Texas State University. Ronald married Stacey Lynn Saunders on April 13, 1990 in Amarillo. He was a Food Service Manager for the Texas Department of Criminal Justice at Walker Sayle Unit in Breckenridge. Ronald was an avid cyclist and moved to Graham in 1994 from Amarillo.

Survivors include: wife, Stacey Gray of Graham; mother, Virginia "Billie" Gray of Graham; son, Christopher David Gray of Amarillo; daughters, Britney Megan Gray of Amarillo and Kerra Elizabeth Miles and husband, James of Danbury; brother, Everett Gray of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Brooklyn Reed Miles, Levi James Miles, and Grace Elizabeth Miles.

He was preceded in death by his father, Marvin Leroy Gray and a daughter, Stacey Ann Gray.

Memorials may be made to The Cancer Education & Research Foundation of Texas.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
