Rosa Lee McCracken

Rosa Lee McCracken, 92, passed away on Friday, February 17, 2012 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 20, 2012 at 11:00 in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Richard Segars of First Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Rosa Lee was born on July 16, 1919 in Young County to the late George Benjamin and Willie Mae (Segars) Weninegar. She married Wesley Ewing McCracken on October 9, 1940 in Paducah. He preceded her in death on January 12, 1977. She married Tivis "Speedy" Statler on March 29, 1980. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1993. Rosa Lee was an activity director/consultant to area hospitals and nursing homes and one of her community projects was the Pioneer Cemetery Chapel. She was a member of Eastern Star, charter member of the Graham Woman's Club, Mamie Stewart Garden Club, and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include: son, Rev. J.B. McCracken and wife, Nancy of Graham; grandchildren, Joshua McCracken and wife, Kyra of McKinney and Megan McCracken of San Angelo; numerous nieces and nephews; step-children, Carol Smith and husband, Chester, Susan Dillin and husband, Dennis, Tivis Statler, and Chuck Statler and wife, Sherri; step-grandchildren, Susan, Diane, Alan, Jamie, Ray, and Caroline; step-great grandchildren, Jeremy, Jacob, Joshua, Jordan, Brayden, Braxton, and Ashton.

She was preceded in death by sister, Nannie Mae McCracken.
