Rose Ella Wilton

Rose Ella (McCawley) Wilton passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 after a short illness.  Memorial services will be held Friday, March 24, 2023 at 2 pm in the First Baptist Church under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Rose was born to Ellis and Fern McCawley on November 3, 1935. She married Frank Wilton in 1989. He preceded her in death in 2016. 

Rose attended First Baptist Church of Graham. She was a retired elementary school teacher and an avid bridge player. 

She is survived by children, Raymond Harold Sims (Gloria), Carol Ann MacDonald, and Deana Gail Shannon, six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, also by sisters, Gail George, Ramona Davis (Don), and Sue Gilmore (Darrell).

She was preceded in death by her parents and by sisters, Bettye Jo Toles and Norma Smith.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Rose's honor to Virginia's House, Graham Crisis Center, Rathgeber Hospitality House or your favorite charity.
