Ruby Louise Thompson

Ruby Louise Thompson, 66, passed away Monday, May 30, 2011 in Dalhart, Texas. A private graveside memorial is scheduled by the family at a later date.

Ruby was born September 2, 1944 in Fort Sumner, New Mexico to the late William Robert and Ada Franklin Belknap Thompson. She married Bobby R. Howell in December 1959 in Seymour. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1997. Ruby was a homemaker and a longtime resident of Graham.

Survivors include; daughter, Teresa Judge of Dalhart; sons, James R. Howell, Sr. of Graham, Dwayne R. Howell of Bakersfield, CA., and Curtis B. Howell of Graham; four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sister, Reba Jackson of Megargel; brother, Roy E. Thompson of Wichita Falls; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Ruby was preceded in death by a son, Alan K. Howell, a brother Billy Thompson, and a sister Roberta Wake.
