Ruby Elizabeth Vincent

Ruby Vincent, 84, went to be with her Lord at her home Wednesday, January 23, 2013. Funeral services will be, Friday, January 25, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Restland Cemetery in Olney. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ruby was born September 28, 1928 in Mansfield, Texas to the late Samuel Allen and Lenna Viola (Billingsley) Vincent. She married Elmer Lee Patton, Jr., September 24, 1948 in Fort Worth. He preceded in death on October 15, 1980. Ruby had been a resident of Graham since 1985. She was a former greeter for Wal-Mart and member of VFW Post Ladies Auxiliary and a lifetime member of the Order of The Eastern Star. Ruby loved people, she made the greatest door greeter and always had a smile. She loved to do crafts, her and her husband Elmer Lee owned Patton Boot and Shoe Shop in McCamey, Texas for years before moving to California in 1965.

Survivors include; daughter, Irene McMillan of Graham; grandchildren, Crystal Noyola and husband David of Graham, Sarah Thomas and husband Cody of Graham, Brandon McMillan and wife Nicki of Hudson Oaks, and Marlayna McMillan of Holliday; seven great grandchildren also survive.

Ruby was preceded in death by five brothers, Homer, Robert, Lawrence, Sammy, and Willy Vincent and two sisters, Lucille and an infant.
