Russell Cranson

Russell L. Cranson, 74, passed away Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at his home on Possum Kingdom Lake. A memorial service will be held at a later date. 

Russell was born June 30, 1950 in LaJunta, Colorado to the late Calvin K. and Mary E. (Russell) Cranson. He married Marla Mitchell July 31, 1987 in Odessa. 

Survivors include: wife, Marla Cranson of PK Lake; daughter, Erin Smith and husband, Josh of Monahans; grandchildren, Blaine and Hunter Smith of Monahans; sisters, Susie Turner of Granada, Colorado, Linda Senor of Rocky Ford, Colorado, and Mary Ann Nichols and husband, Jim of Indiana; brother, Tead Cranson and wife, Anita of Monta Vista, Colorado. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Kenny and Eddie Cranson.
