Ruth Claybrook, 91, passed away Friday, January 28, 2011 in Kaufman, Texas.
Ruth was born August 15, 1919 in San Augustine, Texas to the late John Thomas and Willie Anne (Mashaw) Comte. She married Henry Reu Claybrook on July 27, 1935 in Loving, Texas. He preceded her in death on March 2, 1989. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of South Park Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, Texas.
Survivors: sons; Stan Claybrook and wife Margaret of Canton, TX., Don Claybrook of Ft. Bragg, CA., daughters; Lanora Suggs and husband Richard of Marion, TX., Elizabeth Birmingham of Sacramento, CA., Dorothy Cookman and husband of Mike of Playa del Rey, CA. Sixteen grandchildren, twenty five great grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren also survive.
A son Lester Reu Claybrook and a granddaughter, Janice Diane Claybrook preceded her in death.
