Ruth Motee Cox, 84, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 in Baird, Texas. A Graveside funeral will be Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Loving Cemetery in Loving, Texas with Reverend Andy Graham officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.
Ruth was born October 17, 1926 in Jean, Texas to the late Elmer Crawford and Carrie Edna (Simmons) Biggers, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, J.C. Cox in 1998. Ruth was a longtime resident of Graham and moved to Baird in 2009. Ruth was a retired Certified Medical Assistant and a Baptist.
Survivors include; two sons, Jim H. Walls and his wife Judy of Midland and Shorty Jake Walls and his wife Lana of Baird; sister, Juanita Speer and husband Don of Graham; four grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by two sisters, Helen Garlington and Shirley Collins and a brother, Elmer Crawford Biggers, Jr.
