Ruth Salmon

Ruth Dunn Salmon, 85, passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 in Graham. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Pioneer Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ruth was born in Ryan, Oklahoma May 12, 1930 to the late Ralph and Ara Dunn. Ruth was preceded in death by three brothers that she loved dearly, James Dunn, Wilton Dunn, and Elwood Dunn. She married Billy Roy Salmon March 16, 1947 and he passed in 1998. They had two children, late Carolyn Salmon and late Billy Randall Salmon. They lived in Oklahoma then Wichita Falls and then was transferred to Graham in 1960 with TXU from which her husband retired in 1987. She was a hard worker, worked at The Plant Nursery and Nursing Home, and Graham Magnetics for several years. Her and her husband were members of First Baptist Church. She loved everyone especially her family. She was the Key and Matriarch of the family.

Survivors include: her four grandchildren, Johnna Lehr Ratcliffe, Randy Lehr, Julie Bohannon, and Lori Washburn all of Graham and great grandchildren, Josh Morrison, Julia Morrison, Jordan Smith, Skyla Riddle, Ara Washburn, Trinity Bohannon, Billy Bohannon, Sterling Washburn. She was expecting her great great grandchild and was so excited about to be born in Germany by Skyla Riddle.

Our MeMe will be so deeply missed. She was a true believer in the Lord.

Family visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
