Ruth Marie Senkel

Ruth Marie Senkel, 86, passed away on Wednesday, May 19, 2010 in Graham. Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 4:00 p.m. in Morrison Funeral Home Chapel with Leon Cathey with Hillside Church of Christ officiating. Burial will follow in Loving Cemetery under the direction of Morrison Funeral Home.

Ruth was born on April 28, 1924 in Dallas to the late Claude Homer and Vena (Huffman) Prater. She married J.C. Daily on August 25, 1939 in Archer City. He preceded her in death on January 23, 1979. On November 27, 1984 she married William O. Senkel in Graham. He preceded her in death on January 27, 1993. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include: daughters, Lavena Turner and husband Herman of Iowa Park and Lillian Logan and husband, Terry of Graham; sons, Carroll Daily and wife Barbara of Loving, Billy Daily and wife JoAnn of Loving, Danny Daily and wife Darla of Wichita Falls, and Dale Daily and wife Marilyn of Loving; sisters, Frances Logan of Olney, Maxine Holland of Olney, Nadine Holland of Burkburnett, Jackie Maples of Graham; brother, Paul Prater of Breckenridge; 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by a sister Callie Kelly and brother Ted Prater.

The family will receive friends Sunday 5 until 7 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home.
